Why become a Maxilead Member?

Since 2012 it has been illegal to sell your scrap without first providing us with a valid photo ID. This means that, by law, we require all sellers to arrive with ID in the form of:

UK photocard driving licence OR
UK passport and utility bill which shows your address

However, if you’re a Maxilead Member, you’ll only have to bring your membership card – meaning you won’t have to show your ID each time you visit the yard.
