Experienced Metal Recycling Operative

Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available to join Maxilead’s leading scrap metal recycling facility based in Tyldesley, Manchester.

Duties to include unloading of vehicles, weighing material, serving customers, grading material, general housekeeping, using plant, equipment and following site Health & Safety rules.

45 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

We are looking for somebody who has had previous experience of working in a scrap metal processing yard and can identify different grades. The correct candidate must also show good communication skills along with basic reading and writing skills, be fit and strong and be able to work well under pressure as they will be placed in a very busy working environment. Forklift and Skid steer licence are desirable
