We’re proud to announce that Maxilead Metals have earned a brand new accreditation. Our bronze award from FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) was awarded to us earlier this month – we’re the only scrap metal processors in the North West to have gained this certificate! – and we couldn’t be happier with the result.
We’re working towards gaining a gold accreditation, and the bronze certificate we’ve just been awarded is a step in the right direction. This stamp of approval is something many companies have been looking for from us as their scrap metal recycling partner, and we’re excited to keep our place at the forefront of developments in our industry.
Very soon our fleet of 25 vehicles will be proudly displaying the FORS logo – make sure you keep a lookout for them.
What is a FORS Award?
The FORS Awards are an accreditation that mark the continuous improvement a company makes towards its safety and compliance. Accidents are reduced when companies work towards a FORS award as it means safety is first concern. FORS are a nationally recognised system for safety in the workplace when it comes to vans, lorries, mini-buses and coaches. You can read more about the award on the FORS site.
So the next time you order a collection for your scrap metal look for the logo and the company you can trust – choose Maxilead Metals.
